Feeding Hands runs on a culture that cultivates contagious volunteerism to feed our community. In this environment we build a more connected caring community where children have food needed to learn, babies have clean diapers, seniors have access to healthy food, and veterans feel appreciated. This is rewarding work that is worthy of our time and impacts lives!
By the Numbers
We are constantly challenging ourselves to improve our process and provide more healthy and sustaining options to our guests as the need continues to rise. That impact can also be measured objectively and quantitatively – through the scale and frequency of our operations, the number of guests served with our quality approach, and the amount of groceries provided. Download our most recent 2023 Impact Report to see the complete picture of how we’ve grown since moving into our Hillsborough main location, but below are a few 2023 facts.

Beyond the Statistics
With our values of Empathy and Connection, we form relationships with our guests beyond a transactional food distribution appointment. We get to witness and be a part of their transformational journey. Honored to give a helping hand in their struggles, we also share in the triumphs and testimonies of countless guests who have overcome the circumstances in their lives. Beyond the practical and basic physiological needs that Feeding Hands’ operation fulfills in the short term, over time we have seen our guests build safety and security, a sense of belonging and connection, self-esteem and even self-actualization.
